Why first principles?
Most courses hand you formulas and ask you to trust them. First-principles learning works the other way: start from what is undeniably true, reason upward, and let the formulas fall out as conclusions instead of commandments. It's slower for the first hour and dramatically faster for the rest of your career — because ideas you derived yourself don't fall out of your head.
